It all began with my friends experience when using some dating apps to find love and friendships. As a UX designer, there are several reasons why I would want to create a dating app that focus on simplicity and solution, whether the person want to find a love or just build a friendship for their life. Then this app is a solution for the needs:

My primary focus is always improving the user experience, but there are specific factors that drive the need to create this dating app:

User Feedback & Evolving Needs
Feedback from users can highlight pain points, frustrations, or unmet needs. For example, users might complain about difficulty navigating the app, feeling overwhelmed by too many irrelevant matches, or experiencing repetitive and superficial conversations. I created this app as chance to address these issues and introduce features that better serve users in the current dating landscape.

Improving Engagement & Retention
Dating apps can have high user turnover if they’re not engaging enough. I took some of my friend’s experience and make the app more engaging by incorporating features like dynamic profiles, more interactive elements, or smarter algorithms such as macthing their location and personal interests to suggest better matches.

Optimizing Conversion Funnels
The ultimate goal for most dating apps is to get users to sign up, engage, and eventually start forming meaningful connections. By streamlining onboarding or offering better incentives for premium features, I can help maximize conversion rates. Premium features such as: retrieve some profiles that you discarded a few days ago, the ability to see who likes you, profile boosts, advanced filtering options such as salary options, unlimited likes, essentially giving users more control over their matches and visibility on the platform.

Competitive Differentiation
The dating app market is saturated with choices, so distinguishing this app from the competition is key. That’s why Single Mingle was born out of the needs of user. Single Mingle app provide the ability not only focusing on finding a true love, but also providing options to find a friendship. A refined UX can become a key differentiator in a crowded space.
